Has Fox wore out his welcome???

I thought 7-9 with our team last season was acceptable.

It was we had horrible Carr and the pats had Cassel who had been with the team for quite a few years. I'd say foxie did a heck of a job last season. I'm still not thrilled with him as the HC when it seems he's reached the plateau that he can take this team.

I watched the Cards game. I don't remember Fox getting mad about the fact that neither our offensive or defensive gameplan was working. Seems to me that if the person in charge didn't like what he saw, he'd have said something. Maybe Davidson and Trgo were doing what they were told.

TRUE! All I remember seeing is his half smile / half inquisitive-it's not fair-it wasn't supposed to happen this way look...

Well I still say the defense is the problem. Not Fox or Jake. But the Defense will be Fox' downfall since that is what got him the job. If Turdo doesn't go we will have a new coaching staff in 13 months.

Agreed if fox doesn't make a change with the coaches on that side of the ball towards the positive then he probably wont have a job after next season.

I will give him 1 more season, if he cant string together at least another winning season he has to go IMO.

We have way too much talent.

That seems reasonable. At present, Fox should be under a year-to-year contract (which I guess most NFL coaches are). But as long as he keeps the team at playoff caliber, I'd certainly be against firing him.

I agree 150%

If Fox is willing to be loyal to his incompetent buddies, he damn well better be ready to go down with him.

I will fly my ass home next offseason and march out infront of the stadium by my damn self if we have another terrible defensive season with turgoCRAP as our DC.

Fox is too damn loyal.

Just think, if the fans didnt pressure them to get rid of henning we would still be watching Foster run the ball.

Yeah we had Carr but we also had Moore! In 2003 he got Jake off the bench, he should have done that with Moore last year earlier. Carr was the worst move since Fox arrived. 7-9 was acceptable for the circumstances. On a side note when I was watching the Cards game I kept thinking damn is it too late to get Vinny back?

Fox' seasons in nutshell:

2002 - Building

2003 - Best ever

2004 - Steve Smith injury

2005 - NFCCG, was down to Nick Going's as RB

2006 - 8-8, Keyshawn couldn't replace Moose

2007 - Jake injury

2008 - 12-4, not comfortable being favored on the playoffs ......oh and the defensive scheme is horrific!
