College Football players Helmets getting knocked off.

anyone else think there are an inordinate amount of helmets getting completely knocked off?

I know its been happening a lot in the games ive watched. 10 years ago, you wouldnt see but maybe, maybe one per game. I promise there are at least 2 now.

I hope this isnt some "cool" thing the players are doing now to get face time. Someone is gonna get effed up on TV. All their teeth knocked out.

A lot of it has to do with the rubber chin straps. The full leather ones didn't slide as much with sweat. These rubber ones, no matter how tight they are, will slide up. If a player is hit by multiple defenders, then obviously the helmet can get jarred off more easily.

well Clemson dude that got his knocked off had one of his straps unbuckled. i think it was a Clemson dude.

I think it was the UNC game I was watching today, but sure enough, a helmet came off. I've noticed it occurring, too.

Not only college NFL the same way. Defiantly need to fix it.

You've only noticed it in the college games? It happens at least once per NFL game and often more than that.
