Who do you want in FA?

Personally (it will never happen though)

1) Fire Trgo and bring in a 3-4 specialist because

2) Pep gone for draft picks (pick up a stud LB or DL)

3) Pick up Suggs or Bart Scott from Baltimore, they won't keep them and Lewis

4) Dunta Robinson

If Pep is gone then our DL will be overmatched to put pressure on the QB, if it wasn't with Pep. Therefore, we need a creative DC and use the strength of our D more, linebackers. Beason and Davis are both solid, I would love to blitz with them more and create confusion, rather than sitting back and hoping Peppers can get there. This is the NFL any good QB will torch us if Pep can't get to them. We need to make our own luck and opportunities with pressure and confusion with our best players.

Good points overall but the CB market isnt deep at all...it is basically Nnamdi and Dunta Robinson which did come back and have a pretty good yr after a carreer threatening injury so he could be a good alternative but theres really nobody else out there...there are some decent safeties that will be free agents although we dont really need them now.

Okay take Asomugha and Dunta out of the equation...

I would love to have any of these:

Phillip Buchanon

Justin Miller

Deltha O'Neal

Eric Green

Jabari Greer

Bryant McFadden

DeMarcus Faggins

Domonique Foxworth

...and all of those would come a lot cheaper and be capable starters...

What about Karlos Dansby? I would love to see Terrell Suggs...but why would he leave Baltimore? Michael Boley would be a nice man along side Davis/Beason...only 26...Diggs will be 31...but North Carolina native, Angelo Crowell would be a really good addition...I still keep up w/ the Bills and he always plays great.

As for CBs: Dunta Robinson, Jabari Greer, Kelvin Hayden (is he even good?), Bryant McFadden (a South Carolina native), Phillip Buchanon (though he's 28)

Even Oshiomogho Atogwe (a Canadian!) but he's a Safety..would add some nice depth.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh is the only WR that seems to be worth anything, and that's not happening.

DT...Shaun Cody? Jovan Haye? Albert Haynesworth? I dunno...

Maybe we can have a solid draft and pick up 1 or 2 of those guys above. We'll see...

    • They got people like that but I mean, go back to the 1970s and you had the outlaw movement which was the same thing basically, a reaction against what at the time they called Countrypolitan - with strings and sweeteners and very narrow artistic type of value system.  The style of countrypolitan changes but the game remains.
    • The SEC were not having GT upset Georgia at home. Horrendously corrupt officiating in this game - the non-PI on 4th down and the non-targeting call on the King fumble. Good lord.
