Who calls the plays(On offense)? Fox or Davidson?

Awesomeness!!

I know Davidson probably gives Fox the play, but can't fox change it if he wanted to? I'm not sure how that works. Also, I wonder what they call those "runs up the gut" They probably have fancy names for them, but at some point, when you run the same play 7 times out of 8, dont you just say fug it" RUN IT UP DA GUT!!"

I think Fox approves the playbook, and Davidson calls the plays. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if they discuss them, particularly on timeouts. I also think that Davidson calls two plays per down, and Moore will select one at the line of scrimmage.

So if you're blaming someone for poor play-calling, blame Davidson. If the overall offensive strategy is bad, the buck stops with Fox. And if the execution is horrible, or if the defense acts like it knows what we're doing before we do it, that's probably Moore.

Davidson calls the plays.

yep. i'm sure fox is listening the the whole time, though. i'm also sure fox throws his couple cents in every once in a while but i seriously doubt fox is micromanaging this thing.

a game plan was probably agreed upon prior to the game and it's up to davidson to make sure that it is carried out.

now about those mid-game/ half time adjustments? i'm pretty sure fox is to blame for that not happening. any efforts to deviate from the plan will always reluctantly come from fox.

Davidson better have his big head on the sidelines tomorrow and not in the box

I like him in the box. He has a better view to see how plays develop from up there so as to make adjustments as necessary, rather than relying on a limited field view and still frame Polaroids. Based on previous inability to make adjustments, I'd prefer for him to have every advantage available.
