Chargers unable to avoid Blackout

Chargers announced their home opener vs. Jaguars will be blacked out in San Diego. Lions were granted 24 hours to sell tix + avoid blackout.

I personally think this rule sucks. FU NFL for this!!! especially if I ever miss a Panther game because of it.

Rule is a rule. Doesn't help them that they play on a Network that doesn't assist teams in avoiding blackouts. I am so glad we are on FOX.

The blackout rule is complete BS. There are MILLIONS of hard core fans across this nation that can not (for whatever reason) atttend every game. I know..WE know it's about the bottom line, but don't hurt a fan that can't be there. Cut the requirement on tix sells down to avoid the blackout! Owners.....you loose the fans, you'll loose your leauge!

It isn't the rule that's causing this, it is the fact that you have to nearly give up an arm and a leg to go to a game these days.

The Chargers are never going to get a stadium deal done in San Diego so this probably does not break Spanos' heart.

LA & San Diego should do a trade. The Chargers move to LA, and the Clippers should move back to San Diego. They will always be in the Lakers shadow in that market.
