Don't Rid of Healthy stars: from my experience

Look, from my experience being a fan in NE, you don't build a championship team by cutting and letting go of healthy stars. Hell, you already have a championship team. .

... First of all, you let your stars be stars. Our so called stars are just character players. Foxology says we dont care what your strength/talents are we just want you to execute your assignment, stay with fundementals and basics, never playing to the skill/strength of the player. Plus, you fk's were lucky enough to get Bilicheck and Brady. Those two create stars...Welcker would be setting next to Jarrett if he were in Carolina.

The point of the OP to develop talent at all positions at all times is a good one...but some of the chronology on the Pats is off (i.e. preseason 2003, Milloy and Harrison were on the team together, they tried to renegotiate with Milloy who was unwilling not unhealthy, so they cut him, etc.) so it is a bit misleading. NE takes value for the dollar into account which is how they make most of their decisions and I agree with that philosophy.

Also, I like guys like Diggs...solid guys who are versatile. A Pats fan should appreciate that type. :)

Pretty obvious. You don't force somebody to work for your company who doesn't want to work there. The Panthers have to let Peppers go -- end of story. They will franchise him and trade him for draft picks. What we get will be interesting because it will have to be A: A team willing to give us what we want and B: A team Peppers wants to play for. We are going to try and make Peppers happy. NFL players are like employees at any other job, they talk to players (or employees) on other teams (companies) and if they hate their experience, they say so. If they like it, they put a good word for others. Panthers don't want to destroy their reputation and have Peppers constantly talk and whine about how Richardson made his life a living hell.
