Man I gotta say...Creed was really good.

This thread sure went in an interesting direction. Things to take away from this:

Sublime is an awesome band that covered a lot of songs.

Creed should still be made fun of.

Lynyrd Skynyrd was unfortunately ended before it's due time.

Jimi Hendrix and Creed shall never be spoken of in the same sentence.

If you say you don't like the Beatles, please go take a long look in the mirror.

I got over Nirvana when I got out of high school and haven't really looked back. I'll listen once every year or something to a few albums, but I think Pearl Jam/Soundgarden/AIC/STP were all better, and I think Kurt wasn't even the most talented musician in the band (Grohl is).

If you think Creed's guitar player is awesome (and he is) check out the band Alter Bridge, their singer is almost Cornell-like, really really talented.

I LOVE SONGS THAT FOLLOW THE EXACT SAME TEMPLATE AND STRUCTURE AS EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE RADIO.

/jacks off all over pop rock

I'd honestly rather listen to country stations lately, than the regular ones. There's some really good country artists out there right now (not on the radio though).

You lost all credibility when you put clone temple pilots over nirvana...

lol

Not really. Purple is in the top 5 of the best albums of the 90's, hands down, and the only Nirvana album that maybe comes close is Nevermind, maybe, but Purple is an all-around better album and will be more relevant in 10 years than anything Nirvana made.
