How does Huddle feel about female reporters?

I don't get what these 'ideas' are that are so offensive? I mean, the OP was certainly posting on the ignorant tip, but most of the other comments I've seen throughout the thread have been joking or making light of it but balanced pretty well with objective perspective on the situation. Most everyone in this thread have said the Jets were wrong for what they did, but agree Sainz isn't exactly Katie Couric. And again, it wasn't even her that reported the incident.

If that's her approach to reporting and she exudes and banks off of her sexuality, you're essentially making yourself an object void of the professional skills required of a serious reporter. She essentially is a gimmick.

Can you name any female owners that got into their position by working for it?

I know our owner did.

I know our owner did as well. Your original question was simply about female ownership, which was answered.

About half of the current NFL owners can be said to have either inherited the ownership or inherited the money to allow them to purchase the team. Do you have the same disdain for them that you do the women co-owners of didn't "work for it"?

while many have earned the right to be a reporter (erin andrews) others have not. this inez sainz or whatever her name is is a joke. she reports for azteca, which sells sex in every show, and clearly is another part of that. This is the same tv channel that sent a reporter in a bridal dress to propose to brady before the super bowl. Azteca should not be allowed to send their b league reports to NFL events.

Also, does everyone see what inez is? shes using a catcall, which every hot chick is used too and has learned to ignore everyday, to boost her popularity. she took advantage of the jets so that she would become known to every guy out there in the sports world. it total BS and clinton p knows it.

The NFL and its teams do not have to recognize everybody who calls himself/herself a reporter. They do not have to provide media credentials to everybody. IF they do provide someone with such credentials, they should be treated with respect ... no matter how they're dressed or who they work for.

Are male reporters allowed in the dressing room of Anna Kournikova? Are male reporters allowed in the dressing room of UNC's women's soccer team? What about Michele Kwan bathroom stall? Or Mia Hamm's? Does Sasha Cohen do interviews with male reporters when she is getting ready to step into the showers? Does Danicka Patrick answer the important questions in the buff to male Nascar reporters?

Better check your double-standards at the MF door.

    • Man that was awful.  Completely killed my NBA fandom in a way that will never recover. I loved that Hornets team.  The Bobcats were the worst possible replacement.
    • OK, so this is a bit weird.  When I coached at Salisbury High School when I first started teaching, I used to go over to Catawba College to watch film and talk football with their coaches.  They were great. Curtis, Jalon's father, I assume, was a LB at Catawba and hired as LB coach by Bennett When Coastal started their program, they hired Catawba's coach Bennett.  Bennett must have taken Jalen's father with him to Coastal. I am guessing that is about the time Jalon was born and why he was in Conway. So then his father comes back to Salisbury after Jalen is born and takes the head coaching job. Jalen is a good interview.  I love the kid based on this, and I have heard good things from former colleagues of FB.  Salibury (when I was there) was a very rough school.  Gangs, drugs, etc.  To put it in perspective, I was there for 2.5 years and I had four (4) students in my class (at different times) who committed murder during that time. A girl was raped in the gym by a few boys.  One night, after a game (there is a road between the coaches offices in the gym and the rest of the school) the coaches watched film until 1 AM or so.  When we were leaving to walk to our cars parked across that street, we noticed a car sitting in the middle of the road about 100 yards away with its lights off.  The driver took off when we neared the street, so we all hit the ground.  As the car passed, we heard about 6 or 7 gunshots.  The next day, the van behind where we fell to the ground had 2 bullet holes in it, about 5 feet above the ground.  All that to say this:  If the young man on the video endured anything like that, I want him to succeed and I found it interesting that he mentioned playing for the Panthers.  I am not sold on the player as a fit here based on our needs, but I am sold on the person.  Very proud of him for some reason that many may not understand.
    • First off, he's not even eligible for a contract yet.  You have to play three years. And thank goodness! All we saw last year were glimpses.  Yes, those glimpses were enough that I think every fan wants to see him come back next year.  But bottom line is that so far, with only a couple games worth of exceptions, he hasn't yet shown that he's a FRANCHISE QB.  He hasn't shown the consistent ability to elevate the players around him. He could be the guy.  After week two of this year, just saying that much is a massive, massive positive swing.  But let's see him put it together for 17 games.  Let's see him make the people around him BETTER.  Then we can talk about extending him. Let's not lose sight of the fact that thus far in his career, in no season has BY exceeded the rookie stats of MAC JONES. We should  be excited for the possibility, but we certainly haven't seen yet what we need to see to declare we have our guy.
