Actually we were not looking anything at all like the best running game in the league last weekend. The blocking wasn't up to par and outside of one explosive run by Williams it was pretty lackluster and even 4-5 yard runs were hard to come by.

Part of this is because they knew what we was going to do. The defense job is to shut down smith and stack 9 people in the box.

I'd like to see someone like Steve Smith stand up and call out the other WRs. The drops this past week were inexcusable, too many of them are playing scared.

Hard to do that when he himself dropped an easy one and pulled a rookie mistake by not catching the ball first, then looking to run with it.

Calling other wide receivers out would not be cool. Steve doesn't need to act like T.O. His actions should do the talking, and I hope they do. If the rookies are worth a damn they will learn by watching.

The best leaders lead by example.

I do hope Matt has a good game. We need to get something positive going on both sides of the ball.

Okay, I finally cooled off...rewatched the giants game and realized that some of the huddle was right, ill eat my crow now. Terrible playcalling, long snapper and the refs...it just wasnt going to happen for us. But here we are, week 2.

Matt, as much as I like calling for your head on a platter, this is your chance. Tampa is coming to town, and you been there before. Your facing a weak team you beat twice, redeem yourself and quiet the nay sayers , if not step to the side. You are now on notice...and for petes sake dont let the crowd boo you like they did carr!

73000 watching you on sunday.....

Good luck..here is to victory.

Just asking........when JC finally does get his chance.......does he also get put "On Notice" after ONE sub par game?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Dude whether they have counted or not the offense has 1 TD in its last 5 games.

You're trying to count preseason as one of the last five games?

The last five games were: Pats L, Vikings W, Giants W, Saints W, and Giants L.

Preseason doesn't count and if you try to count it your point is instantly made invalid. If you want to talk about specific actions that happened in preseason games have at it. The results of those games are meaningless though.

True that. But he does GET OPEN! That's what's missing from the others when needed the most.
