All this Jerry Rich hate is interesting. Considering he is one of the most highly respected owners in the entire league by the owners and the players. I seriously doubt his penny pinching is to intentionally save HIM on his personal balance sheet. He is preparing for the future during a time of economic instability. All the haters seem to want to blame Richardson, blah blah. If you guys were so smart, how come y'all arn't in front offices somewhere? I'm not saying I am any more qualified than anyone, but there seems to be alot of Bit%hing in this thread. Everyone will be praising richardson in a few years when our year of being cost effective will result in years of consistent success. FTW.

I understand that from an ownership standpoint but when you're a player or a fan things he does has a whole different meaning. As a player you would feel like you're being sent into battle without ammunition. As a player each year is precious and an owner that is not trying to win can't expect the players or fans to be all in %100.

Passing on Boldin and Housh was the last straw. If he doesn't care about fans or players this year why should we. Other teams are making moves everybody else is trying. Pride will make you look foolish sometimes. While you took a step forward all your comrades take a step back and laugh at you, your team and your city as you proceed to FAIL.

900 really isn't that many seats they'll do something to move them and can usually get an extension til Friday AM to sell them.

But if they continue to suck and we get into the 2-3k left the week before then it becomes a blackout problem. Honestly if a game were blacked out I would be more likely to want to scalp a cheapie downtown, especially if the weather's good and go on in the game because Sundays are for watching Panthers.

I can def see where some fans and players feel this way. But in all reality, if we did bring in housh or boldin, who would throw to them? yeah moore hopefully can be to form of last year, but the last thing this team needs is a bunch of whiny, expensive, receivers who complain about qb play. With an unknown at qb, who knows if we could keep a wr (besides smith and rooks) happy? Anyway, i can see where fans and players alike would be upset, but i feel that the FO has a larger plan in place. The panthers have been successful by building through the draft and developing players anyway. Thats how a small market teams builds loyalty and holds on to quality players. fwiw

my econ lecture is entertaining cuase the teacher is really good at what he does. The lab on the other hand is a challenge, only becuase the grad assistants teaching the labs are all chinese. My first day went like this. "welcome to econ lab, section 13..my name is Xai zue..but you can call me Jennifer"

You acquire knowledge, store it, and move on. The world doesn't revolve around you, and the day you realize that is the day you'll be happy in life again, as a opposed to an egotistical "I know it all" type person.
