Hahaha Jerry, you're facing a potential blackout on Sunday

You're looking for a 1 year fix and don't care how much of Jerry's money gets spent for it. The joke is the guy who thinks we're one player (WR) from contending for a Lombardi. Those that pay attention see several issues, not all of which can be repaired this year making it even more foolish to throw money at big name WRs for 1 year.

Are you kidding me??

You have not read 1 word I have written..

Acquiring Bolden or Marshall would have set us up for years.. What 1 year fix?

Learn to read. Or go back and re-read my points..

Also, I'm not talking about going Jerry Jones.. FFS, where do u get this poo? We will have plenty of cap room and neither player cost 100 million..

Good god.. This is pointless..

To each their own..

Oline is missing a starter and seem too always start off slow. Not too mention New York didn't really start hitting Moore until late 3rd and the 4th when we had too pass. I have more faith in the safeties then you do so we can disagree on that and I like the depht at LB Williams can fill in at all LB position. Norwood is young but has talent and Davis is hurt. Put him back in the mix and it's a very strong position that is set for years.

Right now a good #2 wr helps Smith (keeps him from beening triple teamed), hepls a young QB (gives him another reliable target). Helps the other young WR(not being depended on to make a impact in their 1st season) helps the running game (people can't stack on the run), and the oline(not having to hold blocks as long). Also hepls the def. (keeping the chains moving help them get rest and off the field).

Now what is the downside?

lol.. but, but, but.. it just makes sense!

----------------

and where the f**k is superbowl contenders coming from? how about we are much more competitive and don't go 3 and out... while opposing defenses focus on stopping the run?

I'm coming to the conclusion there is a failed understanding of how an offense works.. and how releasing all our old players is going to give us a shitload of cap space...

aright, seriously.. I've made my points.. have at it.. THE WEEKEND IS UPON US... rumble, young man, rumble..

..

I read every word. The bottom line is that I'm dealing with the reality that is the unknown state of the salary cap going forward. You're speculating that we'll have plenty of money and cap room to sign all our FAs and tie up 10 mill/year in a #2 WR. I don't hink that kind of room is going to exist so that means we end up letting that guy or one of our FAs walk away. On top of that, you've traded away draft picks for your WR which means we have less ammo to go after any quality to replace whoever left. Basically, your lookinmg at 1 year = SHORTSIGHTED.

There is no way you stick Williams or Norwood in and see no drop in effectiveness, especially if they end up in for Beason or Conner.

It doesn't matter if you add Johnson from Texans and Randy Moss. We still have a back-up and 2 rookies at QB. It would be a waste of money.

a 4th grader can see (because I have heard from 4th graders on the issue) that a WR has been a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE hole for YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEARS...

the fan base is pointing out the most obvious of problems.. the fact that the owner and FO have failed to truly focus on this obvious problem means the fan base might actually be right, where the FO is wrong.. yes, that sounds asinine.. but you cannot deny the major FAIL in Carolina at acquiring or developing a WR.. (because WR has been vacant for YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEARS) so when they become available.. you would think, eventually, we might succeed instead of failing..

if you can't figure that out.. while many 4th graders have... where is mother nature when you need her?!

;)

oh, and also, a 4th grader can also tell that signing 1 WR who will solidify a position for years isn't going against Richardson's plan.. it actually helps him.. he won't find any better players after his "master plan" has been fulfilled.. (so unleash the FO! or demand the FO fill the hole.... the Owner does have pull somewhere along this organization)

that's just my stupid opinion........

..........and a 4th grader approved this message...

I see you have gone back an edited since I first read this poo post. No matter.

Obviously, you didn't allow the 4th grader to read my post, or he would have pointed out to you, that most was about fans ignorance, than the actual problem at the receiver position.

Perhaps ya should ask my opinion on the whole receiver thing, before you go on a rant attemptong to belittle me, instead of showing that you can't even read.

Any team lose their top LB would lose some effectiveness. What team do you know wouldn't? We already lost our 2nd best LB and we still are doing a good job in that area. So what are you talking about we are already playing with our depht.

Yes we do have young QB's and the best thing you could do for them is get them more reliable weapons. What did the Jets do for Sanchez got him a top wr weapon in Holmes. The Phins get Chad Henne a Brandon Marshall. It seem like alot people feel that you can help a young QB with talented and reliable weapons to throw too.

The receiver position HAS been an on going issue. They've tried to draft, then they went with vets a couple of times. Then they went back to the draft, with a commitment to their young players. FA didn't have anyone worth mentioning, lrt alone signing. There were trades to be had, but the team already made their decision, and stuck to their plan.

They haven't ignored the position. Regardless whether you agree with them of not.
