Hahaha Jerry, you're facing a potential blackout on Sunday

Yes he had a choice. He could have gone anywhere he wanted. He also could have negotiated with another team for his salary but the only thing that would have done was let Seattle off the hook for the guaranteed portion. The only way he would pocket more was if a team was going to pay him over 7 mill. Bottom line is he got to pick a contender. There was never even a rmote possibility that he would come here with a fist year starting QB and rookie back-ups.

Finally someone else gets it.

Housh was going to make $7million this year no matter who he signed with (because of the contract with Seattle....they would net whatever the other team paid him against their $7 million overall tab)....unless someone was crazy enough to sign him for more than $7 million a year (which no one was).

Given that he was going to get paid the same, he was looking to join a team that had the best chance of getting a ring.

I also don't think our WR corp is our biggest issue.

WHAT?

With the running game we have, smart QB play and good OLine play would lead to offensive success. We need for Moore not to make huge mistakes (like he did Sunday)..run the ball...and make a few plays in the passing game.

It was happen in the first half.

Moose was not much of a WR threat the past few years. Yet, we went 12-4 and the #2 seed in the NFC with basically the same offense.

Moose could beat press coverage and could sit down in a zone or atleast he ran the right routes.

Another WR is not the answer....getting our OLine to get their heads out of their asses and block is the answer.

Oline was doing a fine job before the giants def. knew we had too pass and started pinning their ears back. Maybe if we had somebody else who can play WR teams won't stack the boxes.

..and now, we have heard from another Annoited One desciple. You must be one of the "pay no tax" Geitner lovers, sorry you are so thin skinned.

"Honest, I thought it was funny!"

Careful, Fiz loves him some Obama. He's an actor and needs government programs to support his lifestyle while he perfects his art of pretending to be somebody else in front of 32 people at a coffee house/theater.

I can def see where some fans and players feel this way. But in all reality, if we did bring in housh or boldin, who would throw to them? yeah moore hopefully can be to form of last year, but the last thing this team needs is a bunch of whiny, expensive, receivers who complain about qb play. With an unknown at qb, who knows if we could keep a wr (besides smith and rooks) happy? Anyway, i can see where fans and players alike would be upset, but i feel that the FO has a larger plan in place. The panthers have been successful by building through the draft and developing players anyway. Thats how a small market teams builds loyalty and holds on to quality players. fwiw

this is the kind of non-sense that needs checked at the door when you sign your name and fill in your password...
