Hahaha Jerry, you're facing a potential blackout on Sunday

supposing that any would have wanted to come...housh. automatic upgrade to passing game. one year contract for vet minimum. done deal.

we should have traded for boldin.

far and away, the ravens have done more to ensure a solid year this year without sacrificing much in the future as far as contracts/cap space go.

I said "Outside of a WR"...yet you only named two WR's.

Add Bolding or Housh to that team Sunday and we still get our ass kicked...because the Oline was God Awful and Moore had several brain farts.

outside of a WR there isn't anything i would have done. i have said many times that we are only one Wr away from being a legit playoff team.

i have little fear that the oline will be able to get their crap sorted out and i thnk between moore and clausen the QB situation is fine, i like the defense. i like special teams (even the return game). i like that we brought lloyd back.

we just need that other WR.

How did we make it through 40 posts using the word floppin with no bouncing boobies gifs? I'm a little shocked, and a lot ashamed.

And Fiz, though you are a complete dick 99% of the time, I think you're funny as hell. You remind me of me at the bar when I've had one too many pitchers of beer. Needless to say, I get slapped and beat up a lot.

I agree that the Oline will eventually get their poo together. However, I fear that it will take a few games and we will be in a big hole.

didn't read the the whole thread...but as far as 900 tix?

believe me when I say that BOA would not have gone through the major expense of getting the Panther Blue gels on the BOA crown (this morning) - with even the most remote chances of it being blacked out...even if it did they would the 900 at face...so as to not let those marketing dollars go to waste.

and no...the fixtures up there are not LED...at least not yet anyway. ;)

After the performance against the Giants, I completely understand some people not wanting to go to the games. The NFL is a product and the Panthers right now are a piece of garbage. Winning games isn't important but competing is. When Jordan Gross doesn't try to block or when Matt Moore lobs one into Five Guys or when Charles Godfrey takes a play off and gives the team a 30-50 yard run, that shows a complete disrespect to the game and to the fans.

When players like Deangelo Williams are not resigned, when no lucrative free agents are brought in (screw big names, how about someone who has done more than special teams in his NFL Career? how about someone whos resume lists more than making smoothies?) and when the team drafts people like Armanti Edwards it suggests the team is not committed to being competitive and/or is poorly ran.

We went 1-15 in 2001...avg.attendance from what I can dig up was about 92% in 2002 (546,774ttl) (source-Ticket Dogs).

As to the accumen of JR, he paid $206 mil for the team and by 2006 Forbes reports its value @ $936 mil in 2006! We ranked in 2006 @ #11 within the NFL teams for value to expense. BTW attendance for 2009...586,314ttl. That was up from 2008 down from 2007! (src:TD)

Didn't ready the majority of the thread but for the OP:

FFS, when is enough enough with the blackout threads and posts. It isn't going to happen, and won't happen this season. Worry about something important like whether or not this was worth clicking the New Thread button.

If we have another bad year this year, I fully expect that Arizona game late in the season to be blacked out if they suck too. Or, if not blacked out, then the team is going to have to buy back a helluva lot of tickets.
