Dampier Waived

So if we are 5 mill under, can that be combined with trading DJ or Boris to get a decent player? Are there any decent trade possibilites left or was Dampier our only hope. I mean Larry has been a trading machine. I cannot see us entering season standing pat with what we have.

MJ fuged up when trying to get what he thought was the last piece for a CP3 deal.

The Bobcats have definitely taken a step backwards from last season.

This is exactly why MJ has long been considered a failure off the court. He fuged up in Washington...and he just fuged up again.

I think we're actually really only 2.2mill under the cap now but can still do some things. MJ's Dampier trade failed bad, he took a risk and it didn't work out. We were probably, I hate to say it, better off keeping Chandler for another year.

Don't expect the playoffs next year guys.

Everybody ever associated with NBA basketball in DC has fudged up. That team has a history of sucking. To attack Jordan for failing is pretty unfair. I doubt even Jerry West would save that franchise. A have to be one of the worst run franchises in the history of sports. Sheesh

His decisions there (particularly in the draft) were GOD AWFUL....

MJ is known though, for completely turning around washington's financial side, paving the way for the arenas, haywood, jamison teams that were in the playoffs a few years. Sure he effed up some picks...but he did put the next guy after him in washington in wonderful shape.
