Our WR's

The problem may not be the WR's, QB or OL fault, our routes seem to take forever to develop. And the QB is not allowed to throw underneath to a TE or RB, unless he has permission from Jeff (illegal hands to the face) Davidson. Boldin or any other top receiver would not fit in with our scheme, which I might add is an understatement!

I agree.

Our passing game is a vertical game....20-30 yards down field. We do not employ a short-mid range scheme.

I watched some of the other games this week-end. Other WR Corps (no better than ours) get open. Our WR's are always covered.

i think that our scheme is too simplistic and too easy to predict....much like everything about our offense.

MadHatter, I completely agree with that. We have to incorporate some short yardage plays in our playbook. We don't have Peyton Manning at the helm, so why are we trying to go deep on every play. Why are we diverting from our run to set up the pass playbook.
