i can't give pie today for some reason. and i'm starting to like it more cuz people can see who approves of what unlike rep.

anyway....cuz black is slimming boo? not a shot at ya. just wondering the reason.

you're right on with how I see it Salty.

Chiefs game was INSANE would love to have a crowd like that.

Haha no not because it is slimming. Not really worried about that. More just because I had a blue JPepp jersey up until this year and then I got my black Beason at FanFest and its just AWESOME.

I have like this tanktop thingy I could probably wear but I realllly wanna wear my jerz.

Maybe Ill just wear the tanktop under it

This should help make for a noisier stadium experience (in theory):

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/2010-07-29-stadium-noise_N.htm

The sad part? No vuvezulas.

=-=-

The NFL is relaxing its strict rules on crowd noise for the new season as part of an initiative to improve the in-stadium experience for millions of fans, says chief marketing officer Mark Waller.

The league will allow home clubs to incite the 12th man with visual noise meters and scoreboard messages such as "Let's Hear It!" and "Raise the Roof!" while the visiting team's call plays. Clubs must cease when the play clock hits 15 seconds. As before, fans can't use noisemakers (no vuvuzelas). And teams are not allowed to pump in artificial crowd noise.

yeah. i don't care for vuvuzelas. was just using them as a well known example earlier in the thread.

various bells and whistles, tambourines, maracas, hand clappers, and of course clown/bike or air horns are all examples of what i'm thinking should be allowed.

just saw another one on amazon called a yodeling pickle. that would be cool if clausen can do well.

there is nothing sad about no vuvezulas.

At the Davis Cup tennis matches last year, the organizers handed out mini-vuvezulas to the crowd on purpose. These were awesome.

They still wanted a bit of quiet during the tennis points themselves as normally expected, but they encouraged the crowd to make a ton of noise and pump up in-between points. (this is counter to the typical tennis tournament experience, which tends to be a bit more sedate across the board).

My point is - if they can allow a reasonable amount/level of noisemakers at a tennis match, such as cowbells or these mini-airhorn things -- then they should also be allowed at a football game.

Granted, you're looking at a population of 15k-20k vs 60k-70k of noisy people, so from that perspective I could see why there should be a limiter of some sort... but even so -- noisemakers allowed at tennis, but not at BOA? Sheesh.

i understand. it's just i keep getting a flash of being stuck in front of some drunk douche with a vuzuvela for three hours.

Is it going to be more distracting/annoying to the other team than it will be to me? Doubt it.
