IMHO, the team sets the tone for the stadium and the fans.

If the product on the field is intense, the fans will be intense, not the other way around.

I also believe teams reflect their coach, you know, 'never get to high or too low' and that is exactly what we have. Bland, boring, average or slightly below, Again, just my opinion.

The Panther have not beein consistent in the past 15 years and they have no tradition.

We can blame the fans at the stadium all we want, and yes, there are rules some good, some bad; but, the buck stops with what is on the field. .

you keep pointing out stuff that i'm not against. i don't get it. i don't actively swear. I boo and cheer, and bang seats. how is that disrespecting you?

and nothing you bolded says i cant take a noise maker into their stadium.

how do you suggest making the stadium's atmosphere better? sunbunny admitted that it sux most of the time. i think deep down you feel the same way.

:hurray:

You'd be a much better fan if you did all that shirtless. I'm just sayin... ;)

I do NOT want to see some dude with man boobs bigger than mine jumping up and down on national tv. (You know they'll pan the crowd and pick out just that guy to show). Just as I'm sure y'all don't want to see my middle aged boobs floppin around.

Last sentence not true at all :)

It our fans fault...I went to the preseason titans game...(pretty drunk) Me and my friends were trying to be as enthusiastic as possible occaisonally letting out a curse word or two....Everyone ganged up on us to be quite because of the kids around. I understand they are worried about their kids little virgin ears but parents expect that in a football atmosphere at a panthers game. There is too much of a family, old, quite, rich people vibe at panthers stadium...we need some rowdy youngins to overtake...dont think it will happen...a lot of people dont agree with me anyways

I would def be on board the youth, rowdy movement. Parents need to know that taking children, young enough to be offended by bad language, should be prepared for whatever happens in the stands. A football game isn't a bible school field trip, its a hard hitting, intense spectacle played by the best athletes in the world. As long as people arn't fighting, smoking, or throwing stuff, everything will be ok. FTW!!!!...then again this is coming from an LSU student who is used to one of the loudest, if not the loudest, and most intimidating football atmosphere in college football.

I'm just saying that other stadiums have rules ... pretty much the same rules we have.

Yep, there are times I'd love to have a louder, more assertive atmosphere. As someone else pointed out, though, that largely has to do with the performance on the field. My biggest thing is the criticism given to Panthers fans/stadium atmosphere based on our "rules," when again, they are pretty much the same as other stadiums. Not a carbon copy, but just about.

As for nothing saying you can't take a noise maker into their stadium, I would say that if it becomes a disruption, you would find the same consequences as you do at BOA.

And, it's one thing to put words in my mouth, but thoughts in my head?

And, it's one thing to put words in my mouth, but thoughts in my head? my broken post is a common joking type post seen often on the board, but usually with the word fixed. i think the thoughts are already in your head
