To hell with it, I still like Jake

Why would anyone be mad at Jake? I have said for years now that he is an average QB good enough to win with a run game and defense, but throws up a real stinker now and then. Can't be mad at him for being what he has been now for years.

I am more disappointed in the defense than anything else.

Hasselback had a 57.something rating this year and Garrard's had only one good year since he's been in the league. You don't have to agree, but I sure don't see what kind of argument you have for either of them.

Hasselbeck when he played this year was banged up, something like a bulging disc in his back and literally was playing with their 6th and 7th wideouts. For god's sake, it was bad enough that he had to play with Keary Colbert. And it's not like his O-line or running game was worth anything either. Based on their overall body of work, you can't tell me that Hasselbeck is not better than Jake.

As for Garrard, he also was the victim of a heavily banged up O-line, and his best receiver is more interested in doing cocaine than playing football.

And this is coming from a so called BDSLKJALJALERS or whatever silly acronym has been termed for people that don't hate his guts..

That was beautiful and on point. Who are you again?

Great point.....there is a reason the top 3 defensive teams in the league are still in the hunt.

Can't stay mad at him--he's done way too much for the franchise to let one game spoil it all.

Who thinks he's going to come out absolutely smoking early next season to remove the stench of the playoff game? A couple of years ago he had an awesome TD to INT ratio, I bet he does it again. :)

bump
