Uh yes. Demos have traditionally been free. I don't care if it's some sort of new content that you wont find in the main game. If it's a demo, it should be free.

But I can't really blame them for putting a pricetag on anything they can since consoletards will lap it up.

Yeah right, because PC games would never charge you for seemingly useless poo.

It's got more replay value and has more content than a simple demo. Plus, you can transfer all of your money/combo cards/etc. into the full game.

Besides it's only 5 bucks...I'll just skip on visiting your mother this week.

Sorry but WoW has way more content than any single player game.

It's not my cup of tea but I can understand why people pay a monthly subscription for it.

lol xbox live lol

To each his own. This is more like DLC than a demo. Most demo's take gameplay snippets from the actual game...this is totally original content. If it weren't, I wouldn't have bought it. Like I said you get about 2 hours worth of gameplay, with achievements and 4 alternate endings...so really you're looking at around 6-8 hours if you want to get the achievements and different endings (you're not going to take 2 hours each play through).

A typical single player game is about 12-15 hours and costs about 60 bucks plus tax. I'd say 5 bucks is a great price for original content that adds value to the full length game when you buy it.

And for the last time, everyone here understands that you are above console games. That's great, nobody really gives a fug either way if you like or don't like consoles. I play games on consoles and PC. Doesn't make a difference to me as long as I like the game.

I guess I wouldn't have a problem with this except it's before the game has even proven itself. And if it's adding just a couple of hours, why can't it be part of the full game? Or after the game is released??

Rockstar has no problem releasing games with 50+ hours of content on the first go and then adding after.

Also, who decided it would be a good business move?? It could potentially lead to lower sales because people don't like the "demo".
