just to reiterate what i've already said. 1st drive of the 2nd half we ran 4 and passed 5. we were down by 1 point then.

next drive we were down by 8, and it was a 3 and out. all passing. i'd really like an explanation from fox or davidson why.

3rd drive of the second half we were down by 15 so pass heavy is understandable, but there was still 11:36 left in the game. 13 PASS PLAYS!!! the last one intercepted. :(

all down hill from there.

notice no one said receivers? because they did fine. Steve Smith still helps the passing game because he opens things up for the others. I still think they will get better as the season progresses. Right now there are many more pressing issues. (yes I'm being positive)

The WRs did fine when Moore was in the Shotgun and had time. The lack of a run game really made it hard for the QB and the WRs most of the game. Its bad when the color commentary guys can tell you whats about to happen....

I wanna say play-calling, but the fact of it is, even bland play-calling will win games when your QB is smarter with the football.

Those kind of INT's were inexcusable.

Cost us the game, that the Giant's tried so hard to give us.

they were red zone interceptions though! matt's inexperience + rain + close game at one point = RUN THE DAMN BALL AND TAKE A FG IF YOU DON'T GET IN!!! why all the passing?

Offensive Play calling/Adjustments. Fox, or Jeff needs to stop calling these predictable, stale, and unimaginative plays. Believe it or not, there was some kind of adjustment on the scoring drive yesterday.

And stop trying to outsmart themselves, it's embarrassing.

Secondary is the biggest problem. Sure they created turnovers, but the Giants had got too many yards and scored too many points. Despite Moore's turnovers, all but one were in the redzone, so the defense had plenty of room to get stops.

The drive coming out of the half by the giants followed by the panthers special team turnover on the punt and Godfrey not stepping in to help stop the run turned this game into a drop back and pass every down (although i'd argue we went to that too early, down two tds with 10 minutes left).

Our coaching last night was just awful. Even the commentators mentioned how obvious every one of our plays were. We gave the defense nothing to guess at. We might as well have invited their MLB into our huddle. Once again we made 0 adjustments at half time because we were winning. How many times do we have to get our butts kicked in the second half before fox realizes that you have to make freaking adjustments. Even Meeks with that BS prevent defense on 3rd and long. Prevent D only prevents you from winning. And when you are obviously getting no QB pressures. Rotate your pass rushers in a few times.

PLAY CALLING. Without a doubt! This team is built on running the ball and if we don't stick with the run, even in the redzone, we'll struggle to win 3 games.

I know what Jeff was thinking during some of those drives, "defenses THINK we'll run, so that's pass and trick 'em" It just doesn't work because our receiving core is weak. Even if it's obvious, we need to STICK with the run. With Williams and Stewart, people will always assume we'll run, but we can't get away from it... it sets up our entire offense, even the passing game.
