Winner's From Today's game.

I was gonna make a winners and losers thread, but I figured we are all well aware of who the losers are.

Instead, I figured I'd talk about some guys who played well this week, and who would've, if not for a gigantic Meltdown by some *other* players/coaches, would've been key components in a win for us today.

1. Dan Connor, MLB.

Wow. What a day this guy had. He was all over the field and looked like an All-Pro out there. He had a sack, and was right there stopping Eli on that QB sneak (which, regardless of whatever BS call the refs made-did stop him before he crossed the LoS)

2. Mike Goodson, RB.

Mike proved that he can be a great utility player in this offense. He's a fast threat, who can come out of the backfield, line up in the slot, catch the ball and make plays with it. Not to mention he was a force on KR's today, and came close to breaking a few.

3. John Kasay, K.

Well, the old man's still got it. Reliable as always, including a booming 52 yarder right down the middle.

4. Dwayne Jarrett, WR.

Once again, the man proves he's reliable. Seriously people, what more do you want from a number 2 guy? He catches the ball. Every time. Let the man play.

5. Steve Smith, WR.

In case you didn't see the game, well, the answer is yes-he's still really, really good.

A few more come to mind, but I'll let you guys put some down should you choose to accept this mission.

Remember: No Losers. We all know who the losers are. *Looks at Todd Carter*

Line Backing Crew: For the most part of the game (What was in their ability) kept everything in front of them and slowed down the Giants rushing attack

Sherrod Martin: Aside from his partner's atrocious play. Sherrod kept the entire right side of field locked down (aside from Gambles screw-ups) and made his tackles.

Good Game.

Special Teams: The category that I was already willing to name the worst in the league, was surprisingly the most dominant today. Constantly giving the Offense great opportunities to score (which they failed to do so)

Great Game.

Mike Goodson: What can you say, the guy is the ultimate Ace in the hole. Which gives this team some kind of spark in whatever position he's filling.

Excellent Game, Mr. Mike Goodson.

Steve Smith: Had one rookie drop, but showed why he is this team's Franchise Player.

A shame such a great effort was put to waste.

Once again? At what point in Jarrett's career with us has he been reliable?

Idk, maybe someone who can get open...be a scoring threat...run correct routes...make defenses respect him? Any of that would be fantastic.

When have you ever seen Jarrett run a wrong route?

Myth.

I will always take a guy who will consistently make the catch when thrown to over a guy will drop most every ball that comes his way, only to then get on Twitter so he can tell us that "d3m deng ballz Iz F4ist h3re in thE Souf Syd of Joisey!! Holl4 at ya boi!!"

Lafell dropped one ball today, so did steve. Lafell drew a 30 yd pass interference penalty that put us on like the 5. Who cares if he takes 5 seconds to tweet AFTER the game. Sheesh. Oh yea, not to mention that was his first game.

"LaFell has some skill deficiencies that he will need to overcome at the next level in the NFL. LaFell drops balls that should be caught and has appeared to run the wrong routes more than a few times in his last season."

As you can see, dropping the ball is not a new thing for Brandon.
