why does it ALWAYS seem all the other teams in the NFL make adjustments on the fly durng games and especially at half-time, yet we never seem to? are the co-ordinators locked into a gameplan or do they just not know how to do it?

They are locked in and don't change, at least it doesn't look like it. Or until they look at the score in the middle of the 4th quarter and go "oh, poo! I think we need to do something different." This is why we lose so many game in the second half, they don't change. No imagination.
