Johnson messed up plain and simple. He should have held on to the ball until he was certain of the declared outcome of the play. Period.

As far as I'm concerned he didn't complete the catch because his hand hit the ground and the ball popped out before the play was deemed over. Yeah he was robbed or whatever but it wasn't a bad call. Not holding on to the ball until it was certain the referees ruled he made the catch was the bad call.
