Fourth quarter: Giants pulling away

While QB Matt Moore will get most of the blame, the Panthers got away from what used to be their game plan, failing to get much on the ground despite some chances.

Moore threw three interceptions, all in the end zone, but the Panthers went away from the running game when they were close.

After a nice-looking drive got them to the Giants 4-yard-line, the Panthers threw on three straight plays, the last of which became Moore's second pick of the day. The third one was just as bad (wasting a Charles Godfrey interception), but the Panthers didn't get much out of either DeAngelo Williams or Jonathan Stewart.

The defense looked like a bunch that was worn out, having to spend way too much time on the field because of the offensive inefficiency.

Every good play was seemingly followed by a bad one, as DE Greg Hardy blocks a punt for a safety, and Moore promptly gets sacked and fumbled.

That's going to take care of this one, check back in after the locker room.
