I'm not justifying those passes, because they shouldn't have been thrown, but you can't tell me that being down that late in the game with horrible pass protection didn't affect Moore's decision making.

I give him a pass on the sack-fumble turnovers... especially the last one - when you get drilled from the blindside that kind of stuff is going to happen.

I'm talking about the int's he threw in the endzone, each of those was the result of a bad decision in my opinion.

We need Matt to be a good game manager, nothing more, nothing less. Throwing 3 picks in the endzone from the redzone based on poor decision making is not an example of being a good game manager.

I'm just saying: last year, we didn't think it was possible for Moore to play worse than Jake. His play last weekend was certainly up there (or down there), but I'm not ready to write him off completely because of it.

It took many bad games for me to say Jake wasn't our guy, and I'm willing to give Moore the same time. I don't see how you can judge the guy off one game this year and not his five last year, especially considering our offensive line appears to be a shadow of its former self.

Don't even get me started about the playcalling.

Football's a team game, and this team didn't prove it could win last week. If we're going to start benching players based on last week's game, then these guys will probably be riding pine next week:

I haven't gone back and watched the other two interceptions, but the first one he threw was a terrible decision and should have never been thrown under any circumstance.

From what I recall, you have a TE who is covered on all 3 sides and they were clearly baiting Matt to throw that ball. The minute it left his hand the DB behind Gary jumped infront of him and took it away. You throw that ball 10x and 9 out of 10 times it's gonna be picked.

I'm not giving up on Moore, but his poor decision making in the Giants game was a real eye-opener for me. I thought the one thing we could count on from Moore was ball security and smart decision making... that's what allowed him to have so much success last year.

No doubt the first interception was a poor idea and a poor throw. Actually uncharacteristic of him. Not sure what was going on. I had more than enough to say about it when it happened. Just aren't ready to close the book on him yet.
