I agree that as fans we shouldn't get to high if we win,or to low if we lose Sunday, but we all know that will probably not be the case.

Personally,I wait until after the first quarter of the regular season before i start determining if we have a very good-good-or average team.

Don't know why we shouldn't be concerned, it's a real season game and it's against the giants. They were one of our very last game lat year so we are very familiar with them. We also kicked their ass, hard, so if we get beat today I think I would be a bit concerned we don't have the same momentum. Most importantly I will be biting my nails watching Smitty, hoping and praying to GOD he doesn't get injured and end our season, becasue he got f**ked the last time we faced the Giants. Also it is going to be very interesting to see if he still has some chemistry missing ALL of training camp and preseason in general. You guys were mocking someone missing training camp earlier in the week and unexpectedly sucking "funny how that works..." so I for one am worried.

No... I disagree, I think this game will tell us a lot. We aren't playing all that great of a team. They want revenge and they want it in their new stadium. It's not end all if we lose obviously but I wouldn't say just write it off as just the first game 'doesn't really matter' attitude if we lose.

I told myself last year all the way up until the 4th game but sitting at 0-1 then 0-2 then 0-3 it was obvious I was fooling myself. Once you start losing especially to not so great teams, the momentum slows down and players WILL start to slow down with it (see last year).

Hope I didn't scare anyone and please jesus buddah alah mother earth holy all mighty don't let Steve get injured please I beg of you. (that goes for all games this season).

No drama on the Huddle? Forrealz???

I am cautiously optimistic as I am every season. I hope for better and pray it's not the worst.

I am watching this game today with a bunch of Giants fans. I hope I can be in their faces today cheering all game long.
