Yep, he's such a diva that he literally turned down NIL money this past year and told the boosters offering it to him to spread it around to other players to help keep them in town after our coaching staff left last year.

I really don't want a guy with that kind of character on my team, just too much all about himself.

All these top WRs are divas my guy, just par for being a elite prospect at WR. Props to your client!!..

Oh 100%, it's hard to play that position without being it a little bit these days.  But there is a difference in the type of diva who thinks they're the best and having swagger/confidence and the type of diva that is all about themselves and not the team first.

Players don't turn down NIL money, it's near unheard of.  So for a player to flat out tell boosters that he has enough NIL money coming in and they should use it to keep other players from transferring so we could put a better team on the field, it just says so much about his character.

And if you think a player who does THAT, is then going to have an attitude problem because he isn't a film junkie who loves to study and thus will end up hurting the team's ability to win, then you're just fooling yourself because he's not the guy you want.

I've said it too many times... don't want to draft him, totally fine by me.  But use legitimate and real reasons for not wanting him and/or just preferring someone else over him.

This video isn't that, and if you're using it as a reason to not want him, then you can't say I'm the one with an agenda when talking about T-Mac, because then you do too, just the polar opposite.

I'd only find a problem if that video was current or a recent question was asked about film watching in the NFL and his answer was " Nah, braaH ".

Quiet honestly if a player doesn't watch film in during the off hours, that's not a problem to me. The fact is modern NFL team spend hours each working day in with their position coaches going over hours and hours of film. When the players union got rid of contact and pads, it was replaced by workouts/lifting and hours of film study. A normal NFL day is around 8-10 depending on many factors, like health status. They spent dang near 6 hours in a room watching film and going over techniques, mistakes, and game plans etc.

Personally Id rather hit one another, but Im old school and have no place among the youth mindset... Balance is too far over.....

Also... again, it's not even like he said he doesn't watch film, just that he doesn't enjoy it.

I know some football players are film junkies, just like some people are that way with certain aspects of any job.  But there is no job out there that you have to enjoy doing the "worst" part of the job to be great at the job.

It would be like not wanting to have Allen Iverson on your team because he doesn't like practice.

(and no, before someone jumps on me for it, I'm not trying to say T-Mac is going to be a 1st ballot HOF legend like Iverson, just pointing out that you can be great and still not enjoy the tedious parts of the game/job)

Give stupid takes, get called out and told why.

Don't want to see them?  Stop staying dumb things like "I don't want him because he said he doesn't enjoy watching film from a video from 2 years ago during his freshman year"

Honestly, it may be the perfect time to trade back. For me, the draft is ALWAYS about value. This draft reportedly seems to have a deeper spread of starters possibly through the mid to even late second round, but there is a decided drop-off somewhere between picks 5 to 8 in regards to top-shelf guys. That being said, depending upon this deaft's dynamics, trading down would likely be advantageous if you can score at least another second rounder. Tet isn't before the drop by most accounts (but Tyler Warren is).

Oh I'm all for a trade back if mason graham isn't there. I'd be ecstatic with that.

My problem is I really can't see anyone trading up unless Jerry loses his mind for Jeanty

Pretty much every fan base starting at the Pats pick wants to trade back lol

I would say it would take Jeanty, any OL, or maybe Shedeur not being picked by 8 to prompt a trade up. Don’t see anyone after the top 3 being THAT coveted. Especially on defense. Maybe Graham but that’s it.
