I'm just confused why Fincher picked this up, but I'll give it a shot...once its on video or online

facebook, its creator and its rise are interesting parallels for where our society is heading in general.

The best part of the trailer is the arrangement of "Creep" they use, though it does look somewhat interesting.

That's like saying that getting head while you sip 50 year old scotch and watch the Panthers win the super bowl could ever be a bad way to spend the afternoon.

It's a movie about some guys who made a website. The exaggeration bothers me in this movie because the actual topic is quite lame. I never said there weren't a lot of other movies I feel are way too exaggerated. Hell, I hardly watch movies and dislike most TV shows.

What could possibly suck about having a billion dollars?

family squabbles, being alienated from most of your peers. Stuff kind of like that. It's the age and the sudden influx of great wealth that I think makes that kind of stuff challenging. A billion dollars makes life easy no doubt but it can cause complicated problems on it's own too.

My family came into a great deal of money about 15 years ago. Think low to medium powerball lottery winnings, it was from a business deal but about as sudden as a lottery. The person who found themselves suddenly the owner of an 8 figure bank account was my grandfather and true to his generous nature everyone in the family was given gifts in the form of money and equities that were significant. I saw first hand how a very close and tight knit family can turn on each other over money and you know what I learned.

Money doesn't change people it just reveals who they really are.

If family/friends are going to fight over money, then they would fight anyway so just give me the cash and Ill find some folks that know how to keep their greed in check to call family.

Yeah I agree to that I've never had problems with money between friends or family because it's not a big deal. I only spend money or lend it to people I care about.
