That United Owner Front is looking great Jerry.

TJ Houshmanzadeh is way better than DeAngelo Williams, Ryan Kalil, Thomas Davis, etc-COMBINED.

That greedy old coot just didn't want to pay the young, fresh, Hall of Fame talent that is the Housh-and that's why we didn't sign him.

I think the simple point here is, if your thinking about the future when it comes to making business decisions regarding your team, well then your just a dang fool.

I hope we let all those clowns walk next year so we'll have the big bucks to fork out for some real talent, like Donte Stallworth for instance.

I'm not reading through all 11 pages so this may have been said already but what if we win? What if we end up being a decent squad? Would you really care or is it all about the money and who we could have signed? If we are 1-4 or 0-5 by the time our bye week comes around then we should be angry. But come on guys we haven't even played a down of actual football yet...let's see what we look like on the field before we start bashing the owner, coachers, and life in general.

Winning without a highly paid FA WR isn't really winning at all.

LoL Think again if you think this is a rant on Jerry Ri chardson being a selfmade billionare. He has my utmost respect and I don't care if he is a Zillionare. I am most content with my income level, I would like to make a bit more, but I am sure Jerry would too.

Trust me when I say this, and many can attest to this, BoA NEEDS more fans like myself who will root for the team no matter what. Even when the owner is doing things I might not agree with.

Please excuse my exaggeration, I think Pepsi's are 5$ for 16oz thats MUCH more affordable.

Kurb, LOL back at ya.

Please excuse me if I misunderstood what you meant to say ... although I am not sure I misunderstood what you wrote. Glad to hear you say that you are a Panthers fan, "no matter what". Me, too.

My take - get rid of the lawyers and agents and the new agreement could be worked out in a few weeks.

Hope you will go to games anyway :cheers2:

I like the way you think ;)

I just don't have a good feeling about what's going on. Jerry Jones and Robert Kraft are supposedly his 'boys' and neither one of them got his back. They just signed Miles and Brady to some big ass contracts... Meanwhile, we have TD, DLo, and Kalil all on expiring deals with all three guys in the Top 3 of their positions IMO.

I thought I saw the direction when he started cutting the vets and not signing deals, screaming solidarity with his fellow owners... Then seeing the other owners basically cupping their hands over their mouths and laughing at him behind his back while they hand out extensions and checks to their players.

We are really looking like a joke right now. But, the optimistic part of me wants to believe that this is a huge gamble that we'll win. The bad part of that would be for this gamble to pay off would most likely mean we wouldn't have any football next year.

You are right there, for the fans (little guys) are getting serious ass f**ked with a pine cone right now, while the big boss still makes all his cash no matter what.

I think they are preparing for a lock out and that's why you see that. Its more a statement that the owners can win with small contracts also though.

I got torched a few months ago about this team going bare bones etc.

Here is a thought to ponder with the lockout and such. What if the teams that are signing these long term contracts KNOW what's going down and are basically going to let those contracts go as a bargaining chip vs the NFLPA.

And throw in a mild expectation of getting their own version of bailout money.

oh snap
