What is the best Internet Service (Value and Speed wise?)

Right now I'm with AT&T's Economy Internet Service.

It gets the job done, but I want to stream Football games mainly this year and so far its not cutting it. (Maybe a slight upgrade in Memory would be good for my PC too)

So what is the best ISP for the price, and for the Speed?

Processor speed & Internet speed play a big part of it. If you got fast one and not the other, it wont help.

Did the people at Best Buy tell you that?

Unless you have an absolute relic of a processor and are trying to multitask, the processor has a negligible impact on net speed.

Find out what ISPs are offered in your area and get the best bang for the buck.

I know when I upgraded from Windows 98 and a 1.86g Intell processor to a Windows XP with a 2.56 Duo Core 4 years ago, now just 4 months ago I upgraded again to a AMD 2.6g Quad Core processor and Windows 7. Each time, downloads got faster with TWC cable.

Next time I will go for the Zenon, or what's ever out in 3 years.

Well most like it comes from version of Windows you are running and those old azz hard drives that are slow. That's the only thing that MAY slow down your Internet on downloads.

Plus, remember, TW is a shared connection. You can be fast one day and the next day it will be slower...depends on how many people in your neighborhood are downloading porn and fragging people on MW2
