gotta remember that the Lions played 3 of the worst teams in the league in their preseason. Bengals, Bills, and Browns.

Bengals were 5-11 that year.

Bills were 7-9 that year

Browns were 4-12 that year

Not exactly playing offensive teams.

The Jets, Ravens, Steelers, and Titans are all considered playoff teams with the Jets and the Ravens beign favorites to win the SB.
