A win Sunday and good '10 season=no Fox in '11

This brings up an interesting point that few are discussing...the coaches as a factor in Sunday's game.

Coughlin is one of the highest ranked coaches in the NFL, with like 103 wins under his belt.

Are you really a highly ranked coach if your team quits on you? 90% of the Giants fans seem to feel like the team gave up in their last two games of the season, or at least use that as an excuse for the beat down.

I seriously doubt Fox's future with the Panthers will be determined by 1 game. kinda foolish thinking.

Exactly.

This article is one of the most hair-brained theories I've read yet. Fox beating Coughlin on Sunday has nothing to do with him staying here or going to New York.

The biggest factor for that is the Giants missing the playoffs again. If they make it, then Coughlin isn't going anywhere unless he retires. And have you seen the NFC East this year? They are mess. Dallas looked terrible in preseason. The Eagles have Kolb starting at QB (), and Shanahan is in a rebuild mode with McNabb (who got gimped up and missed most the pre-season).

The Giants are the most stable team of the whole division, and the only one with a Super Bowl win in the past 10 years. I'd say they have a really good shot at making the playoffs, and Tom Coughlin will be there in 2011 if we have a season unless he leaves on his own.
