You know the vast majority of the boards has been saying this since he was drafted, but I don't think Ive ever even seen him line up in the slot ( please correct me if I am wrong ) and it seems like it would be a real shame to not use him as much as possible, because everyone knows we could use as much spark on O as we can get.

I hope the coaches just did not show those packages in preseason and we see him out there during the regular season catching passes.

How well does Goodson run his routes? How good are his hands? People here always say we should play him in the slot, but if he had shown any promise then he should have gotten some kind of receiving practice in preseason.

He might be effective out of the backfield, but Dwill or stewart are the better options. Goodson will just be doing KR for now. It's going to be interesting to see how we use Goodson and Sutton in the regular season. I wouldnt be surprised to see Sutton especially getting a good number of carries late in games this season.

Cosign 100% with those saying with the lack of a WR option opposite Smitty throwing to the Backs seems like a damn good idea...And yes Goodson should be used exactly how N.O. uses Bush we need as many homerun threat play makers as possible on O.

I say utilize Goodson as much as possible...show off his talents as a slot receiver and 3rd down back at times (if someone's dinged up) and in the kickoffs. Build his stock and sell right before trade deadline to teams decimated by injuries (if they occur)

Absolutely will not trade him....he will be the replacement when we let either DWill or Stew go (and we will let one of them go).

He's actually shown better hands catching passes in the preseason (this year and last) than he has receiving kick returns. Actually, I don't think he fumbled anything this year; last year, he was having trouble with punt and kick returns. I really think he's pretty sure-handed.
