Who would put $ on the Panthers and the points versus the Giants?

The Giants are overrated because they play in a tough conference, they play in NY, their QB is an ALL PRO's brother, and they always seem to be on the cusp of greatness but never get there.

We on the other hand, love the underdog role. Heck, there are fans in NY who think we are a college team. Actually, we are very similar teams, maybe this year more than ever.

The Giants have also been in the league since 1925... 85 years...

The Panthers have been in the league since 1995... 15 years...

Therefore, the Giants appear in the title game 4.7% of the time, while the Panthers appear in the title game 6.6% of the time...

Epic comparison fail...

If you're going back to Depression-era stats, then the Giants have 7 total league championships including before there was a Super Bowl. About 8.3%. Fail?

Overrated in what sense? He is never usually in consideration for top 5 in the league, sometimes not even top 10. He posted statistical career bests last season with over 4,000 yds and 28 TDs. You guys probably wouldn't know this, but 4,000 yards for a Giants quarterback is pretty rare. We do not have a system designed to give the QB big stats like New Orleans or Indy. We play in cold temperatures and run the football.

But yet, you can't run the football lately.

Well played...

Give us 43 years with a chance at getting to the big game, and I bet you we'll get there more than 4 times... ;)

You guys are a young team trying to find their identity, much like the Giants this season with a new defensive coordinator. You have a lot of young talent on the defensive side of the ball. I'd say in the next season or two, the Panthers will be a very good team all around.
