Sean Salisbury's take

One thing that rang true to me was his comment on the dissapearance of Jake' leadership. Everyone will say that he does not have great mechanics, but he is a fantastic leader and motivator. What if this game has such significant impact on his own confidence and belief that no matter how much his team and coaches rally around him, he never get's that belief in himself again?

If he loses the one thing that makes him a great part of this team, what then?

Every time Sean Salisbury picked a game he said the same thing

" I am gonna take (insert team here) but I am gonna pick them with trepidation, if (insert team here) comes out and punches them in the mouth it could bring that good old pal 'Mo to the other side."

Salisbury hit the nail on the head. Most everything he said about us was spot-on. I sat 'most', because he said we never established the run. Our first offensive possession we ran the ball quite well. What we did was ABANDONED it way too early, after the Cards went up 14-7. But I agree that we're in for a long off season, this kind of loss usually tears teams apart, because the finger can be pointed at EVERYONE involved...coaches, offense, defense, etc.
