Tough to argue with his assessment, but I don't think he's right about Fox/Hurney going out and actively looking to replace Jake. I figure Fox/Hurney will probably stay pat with Delhomme/McCown/Moore, and pull Basenez and maybe another QB camp fodder guy in for camp

i like salisbury, abrasive as he may be, but i have to correct him. we DID get the running going, that first drive looked like it was going to be double trouble running over red jerseys all night. i know that was the high point of the game for me as far as energy in the stadium. as has been said a million times, it's inexplicable why the run game was abandoned so early - ironic when at other times, Fox & co. have stuck to the run in situations where they DID need to be in a bit of panic (maybe urgent is a better word) mode. but that time is never in the second quarter. all i can hope is that they learn from it.

I'd have agreed on Jake (and posted such at the time) but team and teammate reaction since then tells me that Jake isn't going anywhere.

The more I think about this game, the more I simply can't believe just how unforgivably stupid our defensive game plan was.

A high school coach would have known to plan everything around stopping Larry Fitzgerald. Heck, even a midget league coach probably could have figured that out.

But our six/seven figure salary professional coaches? Nope. Right over their head :confused:

That's a major embarrassment to the franchise.
