Who To Root For Week 1 Edition

Yes because you can never start too early! Maybe it's a bit too obvious, but week after week this will become something to look at. I want to win= BOLD

Carolina Vs New York- No need to mention this ass kicking repeat

Minnesota Vs New Orleans - As much as I hate favre, I absolutely would love to see that stupid dome hush the hell up. I want this to set the tone for the aints to bounce back to where they belong.

Cleveland Vs Tampa Bay - I don't wish nothing against jake, I actually wish him success, and with that team taking its "L"s early, it would be bittersweet.

Atlanta vs Pittsburgh - Could dixon pull the upset? Can home be an advantage knowing the drop off they have in their qb situation. I can only hope somehow they pull the win.

Miami vs Buffalo - Not relevant but will throw in my pick just because i can.

Cincinnati Vs New England - Our opponent in week 3, I wish the patriots expose them for who they are, ovverrrratttedd. But again, it doesn't matter who wins.

Indianapolis Vs Houston - Underdog brochacho. Take the underdog if you are a betting man. Irrelevant pick again.

Skip the rest of the irrelevant AFC

Detroit Vs Chicago - Take chicago here, anything but a W here and chicago may be hungry for their first win oct 10. I rather want the panthers to face a struggling team than a desperate team.

Arizona Vs St. Louis - If this game ends in a tie, it would be a victory for everyone. St Louis is far, far away from being a contender, so stealing a W here may give us a leg up on Arizona for a wild card (if needed)

Green Bay Vs Philadelphia - Ugh, tough pick. Green bay really looks unstoppable, but a dreamer can dream. What if the panthers had a shot at the #1 seed (rolling eyes)- do we root for upset or do we root against philly's chance for 1 up on a wild card? Give me the eagles.

San Fransisco Vs Seattle - Seattle really has a struggling team, root for the Seahawks against the 49ers (the probable div winner).

Dallas Vs Washington - I hate and despise the cowpukes. Absolutely wish that they get destroyed and embarrassed and never see above 3 wins this year. NEVER root for them. Take the skins.

i would say Giants/Panthers will probably be 1 of the 2 more competitive games

the last team the G-Men hosted in the old stadium were us, and we flattened them, and the first team they will host in their new stadium is us. this game will just be ugly in some way

then you've got the Vikings and Saints rematch of their championship game last year, and you know Brett remembers getting absolutely battered by the Saints defense in that game so he's gonna have it out for them

besides that none of these other matchups have a unique backstory, if they have any backstory it's just division rivalry.

i was going to start this thread just now, but make it one that could run all season. :(

I've only got 5 this week. The rest of them are inconsequential.

For Min, Pit, Cle, and Was in addition to the Panthers. Almost always root against all the teams that these are playing.

I usually do that, but I have Jonathan Stewart on my fantasy team. Should I even play him? Do I really want him to score?

I'm in the same predicament my man.

I got stuck with your Steve Smith and Hakeem Nicks (reserve)

And since I decided to take some late round chances on Vincent Jackson and Sidney Rice, I'm stuck having to start one of them along side Jeremy Maclin and Larry Fitzgerald.

I NEVER play players from the opposing team of the week on my fantasy team, but in this case, I'm stuck..
