It's all about persuading the most people to bet.

This idea of a high spread influencing punters to bet is all well and good till we sit back and think that the Giants at - 7 encourages action on the Panthers and Vegas is not in the business of losing money.

Before we get all self righteous, we took advantage of costly penalties and turnovers, a depleted secondary (C.C. Brown got in the game, people. C.C. fuging Brown.), and a Giants team with no will to live in our blowout.

I fully believe we can win of course, but we've got a ton more unanswered questions than the Gints do (a D line without battle experience, a crap WR corps and a rusty Steve Smith, an O-line that has lost their way recently, and a QB who's never had to deal with teams having film of him to study for an offseason) and the line reflects it.
