So I met Brandon Lafell Saturday at the Georgia Dome at halftime of the LSU vs unc game. I walked up to him and held small talk for a moment, but I think the only reason he shook my hand was becuase I'm on LSU's drumline and was in full uniform. Secondly, he was shocked that I was a Panthers fan and from the area. He then started interogating me about how i got to lsu, yadda yadda.. Anyway he seems happy to be in Carolina and didn't mind speaking to fans, etc. Did this deserve a thread, idk, but i thought it was cool. :coolgleamA:

      They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.

      I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
