im not passing judgement on moore, just hoping that if he does get up there he will be good and not another weinke upset....i mean, everytime delhomme is not handing it off i get really nervous...and when weinke played i wanted delhomme to have the ball......i dont want that to happen again, not saying that moore is bad though. AFter saturday who doesnt want more moore?

Weinke won the Heisman; Moore went undrafted. That automatically curbs one's expectations for Moore just a bit, in my opinion.

I'm not totally sold on Jake leaving, but I definitely think Moore should be able to compete for the job. For that matter, if (and I feel when) we do stick with Jake next season, we need to make Moore our clear number two guy: he should be the one with Jake on the sidelines going over all of the plays, not McCown.

I guess Moore could be the next starting QB, especially if the FO decides losing is a good thing. Moore sucks. He was awful this preseason, mediocre in those 3 games at the end of the year, and was just average at best in college as he bounced around to 3 different schools. He is not long for the NFL.

interesting comment from the Chiefs owner re-Pioli's philosophy:

"Clark talked about the fact that the Patriots drafted a QB almost every year, and went on to say "I'm sure Scott Pioli's teams will draft a QB every year...and we'll hit on one of them and that will be our franchise QB..."

I have said it before, I will say it again. When Jake is replaced, Matt Moore will be our QB and he will do very well. I think you all will be shocked to see how he has improved.

So please stop with the crazy high priced free agent QB talk.
