Two things here

1. He might have played below average in the preseason but he was also throwing to players who are no longer with the team so don't put too much stock into that...instead focus on what he did when he started against 3 playoff teams with a below average run game compared to this season.

2. If Moore doesn't get a chance to compete for the starting job this upcoming season, what makes any of us think he is going to stick around? Him not having an opportunity to compete will show how loyal the organization is to Delhomme and Matt's time might not come for a few years and maybe he will get a shot somewhere else. If they don't lock him up soon or give him a shot, plenty of other teams like him and will want to scoop him up, don't forget Dallas loved this guy and tried to keep him around and will be in need of a solid backup and they have the money to pay him.

How many performances did it take for you to determine Jake had the "it" factor?

Many players last year spoke to Moore's leadership and poise in the pocket. I think there's a good chance he could be a decent quarterback in this league.
