We knew all along that we wouldn't sign any free agents. Why would we pay someone like Anquan Boldin, Terrell Owens or TJ Houshmanzadeh when we have players like D. Williams, Jonathan Beason, Richard Marshall and Ryan Kalil to extend/re-sign.

Highly doubt Houshmandzadeh would have come to play for us. And Gettis has some incredible upside that we'll want to develop. If we were to sign a vet receiver I would definitely let go of Jarrett or Charly Martin before I let go of Gettis.
