I might be missing some, but come on. There are absolutely no success stories on this list (the second coming of Moose is about as close as you get, but that's offset by the fact they let him walk the first time. Proehl was a good #3, that's all).

Part of being a good leader is realizing we all have our blind spots and Hurney and Fox somehow refuse to believe that they don't know WR's.

They've done great at RB's and Defense, but can't they see they need to go for outside help on this one? Bring in a big name and another pair of eyes?

* QB isn't a heck of a lot better, but it's not anywhere near this level.

I like what they've done with the team. It just baffles me what they've done at receiver and even more so that they are actually confident in their choice of receivers.

And I'm not advocating picking up Coles, Bryant or Housh.

Well, the thought that comes to my mind is: do they really care about having good WR's or just servicable ones who can take the pressure off the run game long enough to get in another run.

What's really sad is that three of the eight WR's you listed as draft picks were just chosen this year. Almost half of that group just drafted, the other half spread out over what, eight other drafts? That's mind-boggling.

What makes Fox's coaching and scouting staffs look even worse are the WRs drafted before Fox was hired:

This is why trading for a proven talent like Boldin makes so much more sense than using those picks on huge risk projects like AE.
