Is it fairly obvious to anyone else....

Everyone does really...

I think Cowherd, no matter what you think, hit it on the head.

Why should i pay my hard earned money to support a team, that doesnt do everything it can, to win? Why should i be loyal to mediocrity. If you continue to fill the seats to watch a bad product, they dont have much reason to improve.

Ours is a little bit bigger than normal. Actually, A LOT bigger than normal. Stupid people in Charlotte pissing me off. The second we lose a game they want to complain about how we suck, then we do something good and they are the ones saying oooo I knew it all along. Hate em.

But, I'm sure youve experienced your fair share since the Saints bandwagon is the one to be on right now.

I don't care what they called it, it looked like crap.

Well, they were running it with the back-up Oline, no DWill or Stew, and no Smitty on the outside. The defense knew exactly what we were going to do in it....there was no deception.

Run it with other offensive weapons on the field and you might see a different result.

ok.

Do you think there are that many that didnt already have tickets that will buy tickets now?

I just think thats a stupid organizational decision, if they did indeed draft AE to sell tickets.

How about this, draft someone that can help you WIN now...thats what fills seats.

After 100 years of crappy Saints football and finally winning a super bowl, Saints fans are offering opinions on everybody elses teams. I don't need a Saints fan talking Panther draft strategy.

Although you are right, that Armanti pick was dumb, dumb, dumb. They could have drafted him in the 7th round. They keep saying how fast he is.....I don't see it at all. He's not fast, he is tackled easily, and he doesn;t have many moves.

Possibly, but we were running it against a back-up defense as well.

I just don't see the quicks I expected to see from Armanti.

I was impressed with his arm but not his running attempts... where are these quicks we heard about?

It's easy to look like a waterbug against D2 competition, but so far he's looked pretty darn average in the NFL.

I'm not an Armanti hater, I want to see him do well - but I've been pretty disappointed so far. I know he's learning the positions, etc but we should see his quicks right now and I don't see it.

He was running with the 2nd and 3rd teamers in there, and you have to have someone to block for you to show off your speed. I think he throws a nice wrinkle in there because unlike the traditional "wildcat" we ran, he can actually throw the ball. It would have worked a lot better with the starting offense in and like many people have said he is learning a new position, playing his old position, and working on returns. How many players come into the league playing their same position and can't get it the first year? We are asking him to learn a lot and people on here want him to be perfect at it. It takes time people, lets just let him develop before we say he is $h!t and that we wasted a draft pick on him.

Which is why I told him he was right.

All of a sudden, Saints fans think they are gods and that everybody needs to hear their opinion. Just like local radio around here when Cowbitch fans call in to bloviate about Panther football.

Suck it.

So we needed to trade up to get him? Marty is the dillusional one.

No, I would not have traded up for him. I am not sure how he will pan out in the NFL, but I think the gamble and the price was too high.

That move shouldhave been a luxury gamble that a stacked team would make. We had legitimate needs that should have been addressed.

I was just saying that he would not have lasted to the 5th-7th rounds like some people here keep saying.

The Saints were the recepient of the Dolphins makin ga huge mistake in not selecting Brees over Pennington.

Other than that, they are the same team.

Take Brees off that team and they are a sub .500 squad.

That is all.
