I loved Housh as the #2 while he was in Cincy. They can't be asking more than a 5th round pick on him based on how much he is costing them and his production...

Just do it dammit we need another WR and Housh is the definition of what we need in a #2.

John Fox and Marty Hurney have one last chance to redeem themselves. They passed on Anquan Boldin and Mardy Gilyard in favor of Armanti Edwards. They passed on Golden Tate in favor of Jimmy Clausen.

If they don't try to trade for Houshmanzadeh or go after him AGGRESSIVELY if he gets cut, then that should be a clear sign that they're not trying to be competitive this season.

Edwards is gonna be better than Gilyard and who wouldn't take Clausen over Tate?

at this point absolutely go for it. as a #1 he's not all that great but as a #2 he is a very good option....light years above what we have on the roster.

how is Housh done? he put up a very similar season to Steve Smith, and he also had very inconsistent quarterback play as well. Housh has the ability to be a #1 WR, if he had the opportunity to be a #2 he would destroy defenses.

if we were to trade for a receiver, I'd prefer Vincent Jackson, but would also be happy with Housh.

with that said, it's not going to happen.
