i hate television in general. only like sports, everything else i can steal on the internet. satellite has way too many channels and why it shows channels you don't get is beyond me. nothing like seeing some porn movie title only to find out that you can't watch it. also there are weird delays with the box and the remote and at my bros it goes out everytime it rains ( i guess they don't have satellite tv in england?)

And Time Warner doesn't go out everytime there is a thunderstorm.

Switched a few months back...I didn't know what I was missing...Direct TV is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better...and btw, Been through several storms with my Direct TV and the only time it when out is when the power to my house did...no issues what so ever! Personally, I'll never go back to cable

This.. Anyone saying satellite goes out is like saying the world is flat..

If there is a problem, get it fixed or updated.. Problem goes bye-bye and you get what you pay for, 10fold.. 1 out of 10 people have issues with satellite.. If it goes out so often why does every bar carry DirecTV? (Sunday ticket would be useless if it was out all the time.. Think people, think)

TWC is absolute horseshit.. I have a list of reasons why for anyone interested..

I have never had an issue with TWC. True story. I think there has been an outage twice in the four years I've been in my new home and I didn't miss anything and the outage wasn't that long. I've never had to call customer service. My bill is fair. Some of you must just have had rotten luck.

Direct TV is great on a sunny day, but waaaaaay to expensive. The NFL Net. is way overrated. I would rather have reliable internet, than T.V. coverage. I'm paying $106 to TWC for Roadrunner and cable, compared to $80+ for direct only. Panther games will be on broadcast channels regardless of what cable channel carries it. That's why Panther fans rock, sell-outs!
