QB possibility in the 2nd round?

DT,DE,CB, maybe WR...just maybe

What the Panthers need to do is tag Peppers and trade him to Houston for our first rounder (#15), and then get another corner in the second. I've seen some Panther fans mention Dunta Robinson. The Texans have already said that Dunta is the number one priority in free agency. If we can't get Peppers then I sure hope we can get Suggs from the Ravens. The Ravens can't sign Suggs, Ray Lewis and Bart Scott. We need a proven edge rushing DE badly so we can make the playoffs.

Other than Barnidge, and there's no indication for or against him yet, no player from Louisville seems to have worked out for us so far. Add in the fact that Fox and co. don't draft QBs higher than the 4th round, and I figure the odds of us going for this kid are about...

Zero, Zilch, and None. Sorry man... don't know the player, but I do know the system we are dealing with here, and it's not favorable in the least.

We are going defense in the first round (unless an absolute stud at QB drops to us) and maybe the second round knowing this organization. The only way I see us going QB in either of the first two rounds is if Sanchez, Stafford, and Bradford all come out and one of them drops to us in the first round. Those guys would be too good to pass up considering John Clayton said LAST YEAR that Matt Ryan would be a Panther if he dropped to us...we are definitely looking it just has to be the right guy.
