QB possibility in the 2nd round?

Just saw on Sportscenter that Nate Davis from Louisville is going pro. Kid is a pretty damn good QB, and he might be available in the 2nd.....although we might have to trade up a little bit to get him. What do you guys think?

Too many questions on D (Peppers, Lucas, DT help) and OL (Gross & Hangman are UFA's and Bridges could be cut plus Vincent is entering his final year of contract and is injury prone) to worry about QB now.

If all or most of these are dealt with in free agency then fine, look at a QB. But Fox and Hurney are on record saying they do not like to spend early draft picks on QB's but rather get seasoned free agents.

Anyone else find it ironic that the draft picks people are claiming that we will take this year are almost the same as the ones we were claiming we would take last year?

the DL needs to be #1 priority this year in both the draft and FA. CB is #2.

Teams scored way too much on us and were way to able to come back on us. They were also far to able to beat us to death in the passing game. they need to deal with the DL as aggressively as they did the Oline last year.

I can see us getting another CB in the draft, though, that would have the same impact that stewart did. We may have to trade up in the second round to get someone but that would be ok.

He's from Ball State not Louisville. I agree that a QB should be in the teams plans but I'm not sure about Davis.
