See thats where your wrong. If every man had 4.4 speed they would be in the NFL. When Smith came into the league he was running a 4.4 40 so thats not common by any means.

Here is something to help you understand. Most men that ran under a 4.4 in the NFL were smaller then 6'3 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/40-yard_dash Its the size speed combo thats important.

I don't think Gettis will get it by this season but who knows? I think in a year or two he is going to be a very good player. There's something about him.

Dont curse him like that. Say you see a young Moose or something dang... Really though he has made some of the best catches of all the WRs. I was down on him to start with but he has won my praise.

Yeah, I haven't seen 1 Panthers WR this preseason that was more reliable than Gettis. The fact that he can also be a reliable kick returner, should make it almost impossible to cut him. This kid has the potential to be a starter in the near future.
