I'd agree with you that he will make the team, but doubtful to be #2. At least not for week 1 or the first half of the season I might add.

Given some coaching and experience, I think Gettis will be an excellent downfield threat and redzone target for years to come.

Gettis has value for special team play and is a rough project for the #2. I think his upside is tremendous. He is probably the most intelligent (IQ) WR we have. Jarrett is not. Gettis is a body catcher, which is why he likes the slant and hook route. When he shows he can catch over the shoulder or away from his body, he is ready.

Gantt has him cut in tomorrow's paper in his column. Nic Harris, CJ Davis, CJ Wilson make the team, but Gettis gets cut. I don't see it.
